David Matzner

David Matzner is a Project Manager for CDHI’s Digital Patient Experience program, where he drives the timely and successful implementation of innovation projects. He has more than 25 years of experience as a leader of Healthcare Information Technology and Software Development projects.

David has been a consultant to Healthcare organizations, in both the Public and Private Sectors, in the areas of project and program management, IT strategy development, financial modeling, as well as business and technical process analysis. He has significant expertise in healthcare information technologies including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), remote care and mobile solutions, interfaces and integration, infrastructure and system development.

He co-founded two startups in the Healthcare IT arena, and served as CTO and CPO, to develop mobile tools for physical therapists, and remote cardiac care solutions. He has also consulted as an expert witness for Healthcare IT related matters. Prior to his involvement in Healthcare, David was a Senior Software Project Leader at Apple Computer, Inc.

David is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) and a Certified Scrum Master.
