Welcome to Just 3 Questions, a new micro-interview series where we will speak with digital health leaders, innovators, and product creators from across UCSF, the Digital Patient Experience program, and our technology partners. Our first guest is Uma Mahadevan, MD, Co-Director of the UCSF Colitis and Crohn's Disease Center.
Dr. Mahadevan has been working with the Digital Patient Experience program at CDHI to create a virtual care program to help monitor her patients’ symptoms. With this information, she can be receive early notification of a flare and can take earlier action to help the patient.
In this episode, she explains how virtual care can help to augment treatment and defines what success looks like for the program.
