Stefoni Bavin
Stefoni Bavin is the Director of Digital Programs and Transformation for CDHI where she drives collaboration and alignment across and within CDHI programs, including the Digital Patient Experience (DPE) program, and oversees the development and timely execution of program life-cycles. She has over 17 years of experience leading healthcare innovation programs as well as designing and executing strategic initiatives that improve the lives and clinical outcomes of patients and the experiences of staff and clinicians.
Previously, Stefoni served as Manager of Quality Measurement and Improvement for Stanford Health Care, where she directed a range of population health, clinical quality, Medicare Stars, and member experience improvement programs along with HEDIS audits, clinical quality data reporting, as well as Epic and quality reporting system enhancements. Stefoni has also served in several leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente and The Permanente Medical Group. Her responsibilities in these roles included managing multiple national and regional clinical quality and patient experience improvement programs, leading pilots to integrate patient-reported metrics into Epic, developing then spreading mobile/ web-based patient rounding and service recovery tools, and developing/ spreading innovative human-centered techniques and programs.
Prior to moving to the Bay, Stefoni worked as a Knowledge Manager at Press Ganey Associates, as a law clerk, and as a social psychologist, and has published several research articles in peer-reviewed and trade journals.
