Joseph "Joe"  Owens, PhD

Joe brings his deep clinical research and scientific training along with his array of experiences across Fortune 100 technology, professional services, and healthcare companies to his role as a Digital Product Manager focused on reinventing the Digital Patient Experience for UCSF.  

 Prior to CDHI, Joe has built a digital care platform for chronic disease management as well as clinical grade wearable products at Verily Life Sciences, was an entrepreneur in residence at Google [x], and served a wide variety of clients as a management consultant out of McKinsey’s & Co. Chicago office.  

 Joe owns a Doctorate of Neuroscience from Northwestern University, a Certificate in Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelors of Engineering from Vanderbilt University. You can generally find Joe either reading some esoteric history book or out in the wilderness with his golden retriever Honeydew.
