Geneva Steward
Geneva Steward has 21 years of diverse IT Operations experience (administration, infrastructure, and application support) both as a technical resource and as a project/program manager across multiple industries: Banking/Insurance, Consulting, Healthcare/Education, Multimedia/High Tech, Public Sector (city/utility), and Semiconductor. She has been a contributor to strategic and tactical planning since early in her career thanks to some great mentors and highly skilled teams in the Silicon Valley. The last few years Geneva has focused on cybersecurity programs for data protection, policy management (including policy creation), and governance/risk/compliance (GRC) at UC Davis Health. She is on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity San Joaquin County and is a member of the City of Stockton mayor’s Technical Advisory Council. Prior to CDHI, Geneva served as a Senior Security Project Manager at UC Davis Health, as a Senior Project Manager at VSP, and as an IT Engineering Project Manager at Leverage IT Consulting. She earned both her BA in Business/ Communications and her Master of Science in Global Technology & Development from Arizona State University Online, and is a Certified ScrumMaster as well as Governance, Risk, Compliance Professional (GRCP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
